collected figments

An exploration of colour & shape. Beginning with an abstract colour composition, I let the shapes and values dictate the linework that's drawn. It's a fluid process, letting my imagination run and see what comes out. I've always gravitated towards circles, often incorporating the shape into my art. To me, circles symbolize endless time with no beginning or end point,  a mirror of natural rhythms like the changing of seasons or the life cycle. I'm letting the shape take the forefront in this collection with most pieces being circles or having circular elements incorporated. This collection will be an addition to my other ongoing work, designed to re-inspire me and have some fun in the process as well!
