Sara Krebs is a traditional artist who creates pieces with bold contrast between colour and black & white. Her primary medium is pigmented & black India ink, using both pens and brushes to achieve vibrant colours and detailed linework. In her recent work she’s been experimenting with stripes, and detailed patterns with concentrated pops of colour as a focal point. Her artistic goal is to capture the beauty of individuality found in life and ourselves.

 “Everyone has parts of themselves that stand out in a crowd, and that’s what I’m wanting to come through in my artwork.  We all have those vibrant colours to share with the world, our beautiful uniqueness. As a child I would draw rainbows on literally everything, the colours brought me a lot of happiness. I'm harnessing my inner child through my artwork to create pieces that give me joy and a way to escape life and all it's stresses, even for a few moments. I hope it can have a similar effect for my audience as well!”
